Slice Watermelon the Easy Way!!

     I am blogging today to introduce you to one of the coolest inventions since peanut butter. I am talking about the My Amazing Kitchen Finds watermelon slicer. I never even knew I needed one of these until I saw the opportunity to review this one and boy am I impressed. I received this product at a deep discount in exchange of an honest and unbiased review.

   I have used this slicer a couple of times now and I love this thing. It is stainless steel and has a PVC grip for easy handling. It slices a slice of watermelon approx 1" thick. It is so easy to use and easy to clean as well. Makes watermelon slicing much easier and less of a mess. All you need to do is slice the watermelon in half. Place the wired end of the slicer against the rind of your watermelon and pull gently toward you with a downward motion, trying to keep the wire as close to the rind as possible. When you master this you will have a healthy 1" thick slab of watermelon without the rind. Yay!!!! No rind. I was planning on this being a gift, however I like this one so well myself I am going to keep it. Once you cut the first piece you can choose to slice the melon as thick as you choose. Just don't cut as deep. Clean-up is easy, just wash with hot soapy water and dry thoroughly. And this set only gets better because it also comes with a free melon baller. It to is stainless steel.
